Reflecting & Manifesting - Week 5

#REVERB10 is an online initiative to reflect on your year and manifest what’s next.

Welcome to Week 4.
From Dec 1 - 31, I will reflect on what’s happened and send out reverberations for the year ahead.

December 26 – Soul Food.  What did you eat this year that you will never forget? What went into your mouth & touched your soul? (Author: Elise Marie Collins)

Pizza. It’s my soul and comfort food.  Had a lot of slices of pizza across the past year to keep me grounded and comforted in times of change.  Pizzeria Paradiso, 2 Amy’s, Pete’s Apizza, Matchbox - love it all!

December 27 – Ordinary Joy.  Our most profound joy is often experienced during ordinary moments. What was one of your most joyful ordinary moments this year? (Author: Brené Brown)

I recall a single memory of one Sunday afternoon at the Springtime Garden Party held at the French Embassy.  A nice community gathering, champagne, pastries, street artists, music, watching kids roll down the hill.  It was a perfect day to be swept away.

December 28 – Achieve.  What’s the thing you most want to achieve next year? How do you imagine you’ll feel when you get it? Free? Happy? Complete? Blissful? Write that feeling down. Then, brainstorm 10 things you can do, or 10 new thoughts you can think, in order to experience that feeling today.  (Author: Tara Sophia Mohr)

Reflection exercises like this really get interesting when it reveals what we truly want to explore, achieve and discover.  I really, really want to complete my 500 hr yoga teacher training certification early in the year.  It has been a four year process and it’s time.  I will feel completion, proud of the accomplishment and so much gratitude for my teachers for lighting the way.

December 29 – Defining Moment.  Describe a defining moment or series of events that has affected your life this year. (Author: Kathryn Fitzmaurice)

The whole year was clearing the way for work and play that is more aligned with who I am.  This life reorganization was important for me as a coach and a person.  How can I live with integrity if I’m not walking my talk.  As a result of this commitment and focus, some client opportunities have presented and I was open and ready to say Yes!

December 30 – Gift. This month, gifts and gift-giving can seem inescapable. What’s the most memorable gift, tangible or emotional, you received this year? (Author: Holly Root)

The gift of using my gift.  I am a teacher, coach, intuitive and deep listener. Not only did I more deeply connect with what and ways my soul wants to move forward in this life but I have been in service to many this year for that same purpose.  And it feels great to be in service this way!

December 31 – Core Story.  What central story is at the core of you, and how do you share it with the world? (Bonus: Consider your reflections from this month. Look through them to discover a thread you may not have noticed until today.) (Author: Molly O’Neill)

My core story is about self-knowing, leadership, identity, being open to solutions and possibilities, seeing life as a journey and exploring the process, recognizing and moving out of comfort zones, stepping up and out with one’s personal power, giving of one’s gifts, and stop messing around.  There is no other time but now!  My love of family and community is what sustains me and serves as my foundation.  My work is the platform where I express it.  I admit to needing to add a thread to this story:  More lightness and play in the new year.  So far… off to a great start.  Happy 1/1/11 Everyone!  Let us all be aligned, take actions and speak words from our deepest truth this year!

There you have it.  Feeling ALIVE - Reflections Week Five.
